Finally a good answer! As long as you are careful when pulling in/out of driveways and parking you will be fine. If anything, I'd argue that the sport suspension is too high for a true sport sedan. Gap between the tires and fenders is a terrible thing.

I agree. Not to mention, there isn't a front lip spoiler or anything making the front even closer to the ground so the front has a good amount of clearance even when the car is lowered.

You can never be too low? How about in winter?

The sport suspension on the A4 is great but I wonder how I'll do in winter with it..

Snow?... what snow? Ha!

I guess that's the real beauty of height adjustable coilovers... you can lower it in the summer and raise it in the winter.

On the other hand, you miss the real beauty of quattro in snow..

Snow on a lowered car isn't too bad. I find my car "floats" less then the stock suspension in snow. On the other hand I currently do not have AWD and it gets tough pushing snow in "un-plowed" streets. I figure quattro will have no issues at all...

Even if snow is above the bumper!

The new bumper kinda looks like a snow plow. I should have a quattro I vs. quattro V comparison/smack down next winter (if it decides to snow). I'll leave the snow bank bashing to the '87 4000 quattro though, its got a tougher bumper.

I gotta say that I'm really surprised. I took some back roads that were unplowed with a subaru impreza 2.5RS (the 2002 one, with sport suspension and all, pretty much a wrx without turbo) and almost got stuck when it was time to "plow". That was with Toyo GO2+ winter tires. I blame that on the lack of rear LSD because I could sometimes hear one wheel spinning and the other one not doing much. I was quite disappointed to see that the B8 A4 doesn't have a rear LSD. Did the A4 in the video have one?

RE: Lower height with sports package.

Raised manhole cover made a loud clunk. No apparent damage. As careful as I have been one got me in a store's parking lot. Guess the final paving was not done. The the kid with a G37 was salivating over my A4 at the Hess station and the girl at the pizzeria who was 45 years younger was flirting with me.

Win some lose some.
