Or some sales rep called the base system on the B8 Bose... (confusing it with the A8 perhaps?)

He's either ignorant or just stupid. 2009 A4 Premium comes with Audi Concert CD system, Premium+ comes with Audi Symphony and Prestige comes with Bang & Olufsen. Sounds like you got a Premium trim which means you have Audi Concert audio...definitely NOT a Bose.

Perhaps ignorant about the audio, he was informative about performance and other features on this and the other models we tested. He also told me the financing was 1.9% but that program had just ended and it was 2.9% (still better than my Credit Union). I just wish I'd have discovered this site prior to purchasing the wife's car- some very useful info here- Thanks.

Enjoy the new car - I love mine as does everyone else on here. Feel free to ask any questions.

Now hold on there a minute sidewinder, US Premium
cars ordered before a date certain required an optional Symphony be installed. I read that in the dealer's order guide. I assume that the Concert units were not manufactured. The MSRP was lower by $ 350. than later cars with Concert radios. The Symphony is a $ 380. option, so it cost thirty bucks for a 6 disc changer.

Now, as for the B&O system in the A4Q B8, I wanted to see what the difference was between the amp and speakers, so I opened the electronic parts book. I found that the amplifier was different, and about twice as costly. I found the interior trim was different, chrome rings around the speaker grills and all. The speakers themselves? Same part number. Uh oh, either they are the same speakers, or it is just my inability to read the book correctly.

Symphony/Concert/B&O, whatever it is it's not a Bose.
