I was looking at a 09 Audi Avant. It had the Adaptive Suspension Damping System. I know it can make the suspension softer or harder. How does it work and can you still install lowering springs or coilovers? I do know of the adaptive air suspension and wish they made it for the A4's.
I did a searches and couldn't find my direct answers.
Thanks in advance.

It is described to get input from 14 sensors and regulates the damping individually for each wheel depending how you drive and the road conditions.
It is lowered the same 20mm as "Sport Suspension". (Assuming it's not a european S-line sports chassis, which I believe is 30mm lower.)
My car is low enough and handles very good. It is stiff in cornering. I drive it mostly with suspension set to the middle setting ("Auto"). I have no reason to change anything in the suspension and wouldn't do that without exactly knowing what to do and what other parameters will be affected.
ADS works the best if the car has Navigation because that will include the "Individual" feature. (Then complement your toolbox with VCDS to make "Individual" the start up default.)

Thanks Audi8k. That was a really good explaination. I like the links you posted as well. Learn a bit more on them.
Based on what I've read, I can put the H&R sport springs. Would lit void the warranty?
Thanks
