Also i'm thinking of doing the spark plug maintenance can anyone advise in terms of brand and specifications needed ?

Plugs are by NGK or Bosch, every 35k miles.

Any oil meeting VAG502.00 is suitable. Castrol 5W40 and Mobil 1 0W40 are by far the most common and also what the dealer typically uses.

Wow i got to be honest im surprised by your answer with "NGK" those are common for only JAP cars not Germans i expected Bosch ... , well in regards to the oil can i go with Mobil 1 5w30 Fully Synthetic ? with Mobil 1 m1-404 filter ?

NGK makes great plugs. Not sure what else to say. And they offer the correct plug for the car.

Mobil 1 5w30 Fully Synthetic does NOT meet 502.00.

Can't comment on that filter. I typically fly with one of the German brands.

The plugs are easy. I've got NGK in my car now.

You'll need about 5 qts of oil unless you desire to purchase more if you know the car is consuming.

awesome in Canada its selling for about $31.00 for 4.8 Quarts so i'll need to buy two quarts. because here its Liters so the jug is only 4.4L and 5 Quarts in liters is 4.9L

In the owners manual it says 4.9Quarts ?

Any chance you have the model # for the plugs you installed ? so i can buy the exact same thing were the expensive ?

Cool thing about this car is the oil filter is on top
