Default Aftermarket Wheels What to Choose?.

I own a Audi A4 2009 and my friend recently also just purchased one. He is looking for some aftermarket wheels to change them out with that he wont have a issue with due to Center bore size. I also own aftermarket wheels (VMRS) and notice vibration issues on my car. Anyone know of any company/brand that they own or bought from and have no issues with them at all and are perfectly in Spec?

This might be a dumb question, but have you balanced them?

Is the vibration in the entire car or mostly at the steering wheel?

Some people have experienced vibration issues narrowed down to the control arm, which is covered by dealer.

The issue w/ the VMRs was apparently the fault of the machining shop used to bore out the wheels to 66.6mm size before VMR started offering the wheels in B8 fitment straight from the factory. As I undersatnd it, VMR has since ceased doing business with that shop and is now working diligently to get their wheels in B8 fitment straight from the factory rather than boring out existing non-B8 fitment units to fulfill customer requests.

I received the second pair from VMR from the "factory" and I still feel vibrations. Not in the steering wheel, It is all in the car. when I look at my passenger side and the chair is swaying left and right quickly. only happens above 70+Mph. I did wheel balancing 4 times on the new pair and it still is there. I am going to try a second wheel force balance again and see how that goes after the holidays. Also am thinking of changing out the Pirelli p6's. Been reading around that they suck and sometimes cause vibrations.

Default Hartmann wheels, say no more!

I just purchased a set of 18" Hartmann Euromesh wheels to use for winter tires on my '09 B8, and I love them! I'm tempted to replace my factory 19" wheels next summer with the same size Hartmanns.
