Any way to reset adaptation on the 8spd transmission?

Default Any way to reset adaptation on the 8spd transmission?
I'm curious.... does anyone know if there's a way to reset what the transmission has learned about my driving style on the 2011+ B8's with the ZF 8HP?

BMW's owner manual has a clear procedure for doing so involving holding down the gas pedal with the ignition on but engine off.

I've got a VCDS cable too, if there's some way to do it over VCDS.

I think there is a pedal sequence you can do as well. I remember reading it here or on AZ. I believe the dealer I went to also mentioned the pedal sequence when I was wanting to 're-learn' my transmission soon after I bought my car.

Wonder if it is the same on my old A6 and on my Toaureg - Key in, on to acc, but don't start - then push gas pedal to the floor for 10 seconds, key out - then start....

Give it a whirl- I will check it out tonight too...
