Default Anybody being quoted deals on the 2009 yet?

I'm ready to order, and my dealer has been saying that margins are tight and prices will be close to MSRP. I always negotiate from invoice, and my last two Audi's were invoice plus $500. This time, my dealer won't commit to that.

Has anyone been getting invoice + deals quoted yet? I'm not looking for final prices, since prices are just being announced
... just for the markup relative to invoice.

Thanks.

Default On the other hand ...

... the B8 A4 is exciting new product and a relative econobox among luxury cars so demand should be strong for a while.

Default We hope to get a discount from my wife's employee purchase program..

She works for IBM and they have an employee benefit, Audi Supplier Purchase Program for 2008 with 6% off MSRP for most new Audi models. The A4 is not currently exempted but the models covered in the agreement are "subject to change" at any time.
Got my fingers crossed.

Default Wow! That is an awesome program.

Most Audi's appear to have a 7% margin. So getting it for 1% over invoice is amazing.

It's only awesome if Audi doesn't suddenly exempt the new A4's.

Default My dealer offered $1k off sticker for pre-orders...

Without negotiating, my dealer offered me $1k off sticker for placing a pre-order and I intend to try and negotiate better pricing when I take delivery. I got an email the other day with an offer for an additional $500 off the final negotiated price for signing up for the A4 Driving Experience. Hopefully I can get at least another $1k off or some free goodies (tint, clear bra, etc.). We shall see!

Default Not soo, Benz and Audi are still over last years sales

And with GM and Chrysler pulling out of the lease business, that takes Caddy, Volvo and Saab out of the picture. With BMW taking such a large hit on the lease portfolio that leaves Lexus, MB and Audi to duke it out. my .02

Default Do you have a contact or tel number in that email?..

I've done the ADE but not received an email offer as of yet. When did you go? Maybe it's too soon for me.
