Do you own an easy bake oven? How is it not large enough for a headlight?

I heated up the oven @ 300 degrees for about 15 minutes, I then turn OFF the oven place a towel on the bakesheet and place the headlight (remove electronics and bulbs) inside for around ten minutes. Take the headlight out (with gloves) and pry the lens from the housing. THe glue will be warm so it will come apart easy. Make sure to remove the metal clips before you put it in the oven.

Here are a few pics I took.

Pics of the sidemarker with led and heatsink.

Pics of LED strip after hours of trying to figure out how to remove strip.

I still dont know how to turn them on. Need to do some research.

Can that amber plastic piece be removed from the black plastic backing / frame? If so, it may be possible to get a plastics company to make replacement pieces in clear / frosted plastic. I have my doubts about sourcing the Euro piece.

I havent taken the amber piece off but it definately can be removed. If someone made a clear sidemarker lens it could be a very easy upgrade if you are brave enough to put the headlight in the oven.

Why not just paint the thing gloss or flat black?
