Then there might be something wrong with the APR flash. That is just a guess, so don't take it as a fact.

Stage II+ should disable the CEL caused by your 034 HFC in both stock and non-stock modes. If you do get a CEL in stock mode after driving for a while, perhaps the car didn't take the tune for some reason? On the other hand if a CEL does show up in stock mode, your tune might be fine and the CEL may be caused by something other than the HFC.

Even if you didn't get the APR tune, you should still notice a slight increase in power purely from the hardware (especially the 034 HFC).

Would you be able to get the shop to run a VAG-COM diagnostics scan and then post the results here?

If my B8 has coilpack issues like my B5 had, I'm flying to Germany to slap somebody.

^This is only the 2nd time I've heard of anything that MIGHT be related to a coilpack issue on the B8. The other case was someone w/ a 6MT running an APR tune but it has since been resolved; I don't think it ended up being the coilpacks but not 100% sure.

As soon as I get this bs resolved I post all the info they did to fix it and what caused this to happen. As of now I am not happy with the place who did my upgrades and apr.

Just as an FYI... valet mode IS suppose to feel like no power, that's what it's for.

If you switch it to 93 octane MAKE SURE you have a nice tank of 93 in the car. I don't know how familiar you are with this but power increase comes at a cost of vigilance on your part. You need to MAKE SURE you have the right fuel of the right map (equal or better fuel). I really hope to god you are not running regular 87 (yes I know some people who even put 85 in their recommended 91 cars)

Anyways, i'm just making sure.
