APR vs Stasis
#12
Before you decide
With my 2001 A6, I started out replacing the shocks, after which, I replaced the springs, the one thing led to antoher, and I had replaced many, many parts. In the end, I had a good car, but I was the guy that engineered it. I'm not an automotive engineer, and while it was always possible to make things work together, you're somewhat at the mercy of a series of lucky purchases.
With my new '09 A4, I took a different approach. This time, I purchased the entire Stasis package. I did this for two very important reasons.
1) I wanted a warranty
2) These guys run a race shop, and they spend an awful lot of time engineering a complete product that is balanced, and works exceptionally well as a complete kit.
With that said, before you start modifying this or that, take a moment to consider what the end state will look like. A clear vision of the end state will help you with your decisions. In other words... "Use the force Obiwan".
