Default Audi Care and servicing at different dealers...
I signed up for Audi Care at time of lease at dealer A. I know I was told I can go to any Audi dealer in NA and my Audi Care coverage is honored. How do they verify this? Is it based on VIN or do I need to bring proof of coverage along with me?

Just curious as I might be using a different dealer for servicing than where I bought the car.

My guess is that it's in some database they can reference by name or vin.

Correct. Once they punch in your name, your VIN and all your records come up.

Yep every Audi Dealer in the country knows you have it if you visit for service.

true. i ve used other dealer for 15k servicing.

Default and, if purchased, it's the "car" (by VIN) that has AudiCare, not the "purchaser".
So, if you sell your vehicle prior to the expiration of coverage, that coverage follows the vehicle without you having to "transfer" it.
