Hey everyone,
What the year to year changes were for the Audi MMI when you order navigation? From what I gather, these seem to be the change:
2009: 2nd generation MMI
2010: 3rd generation MMI and Sirius traffic included
2011: HD radio part of Nav package
2012: No changes
2013: Reduced buttons (from 8 to 4 around the gearbox) and Audi Connect included with Google Earth
Am I missing anything? Also, do those of you who have MMI find it intuitive compared to BMW's iDrive? I noticed that for the MMI, to scroll down/up the list, you have to scroll the MMI **** counter clockwise/clockwise respectively. Is there a way to program the MMI to function the other way around?
Thanks in advance!

It's even worse than just scrolling lists -- to zoom in on a map, you turn counter-clockwise, which is backwards to every non-Audi driver I've tested. That said, the zooming direction does seem consistent with the general backwardsness of MMI, which can likley be traced back to Audi's decision to put the "scroll bar" on the left instead of the right. If you think about that bar, you may instinctively scroll in the direction that MMI demands.
