Does anyone have this option on their present vehicle? Would you recommend it on a new Audi A4 that will be parked outside all day? What is the approximate cost?

I am leaning toward a black interior at this point.

Are talking about the front window ones? I use them on mine and it helps with the heat load

so you don't have to go as dark to get the same benefit.

Then you can get the sun shade also to make the protection even better.

Actually Ceramic Tint is better than Metallic, just more expensive. Huper Optik, very good stuff.
