Especially the stuff about ADS being a waste of money. The part that he (and many on these forums) doesn't seem to understand is that while it definitely can get expensive to add options, they're called "options" for a reason and I'm glad Audi is giving A4 owners the opportunity to purchase some advanced technologies that would typically only be found in higher end models. His main argument seems to be focused on the fact that the A4 is underpowered for the pricetag, but he ignored the incredible design and build quality that is superior to many of the A4's rivals, IMO.

But this guy sure seems stuck on an infiniti G37 and the power it makes.
Yes, infiniti spends massive amounts of money on the engine and then skimp on other features and fit and finish. If you looked at a pie chart, the majority would be the engine.
He then calls the acceleration of the A4 2.0T "average." How about the Lexus IS250 AWD or the C300 or the 328xi? Those are all slower than the A4 2.0T.
And it's not more expensive than the old A4 by much, (400-500 dollars?) it just has more available options as Blake P pointed out.
He also says things like "If Audi wants to compete." They're not competing, they're winning. The A4 outsold the 3 series in Germany in 2008.

Every other review and tv show about the new A4 claims the 2.0T is quicker than the 3.2.
Most reviews, if not all of them, say things like "ADS" finally makes this Audi rival the BMW 3 chassis for poise and overall handling -- some reviewers have said ADS finally allows the Audi to surpass the Bimmer.
Moreover, if what you really want is blistering acceleration and are willing to have the G he mentioned (with its less than impressive interior, to mention one aspect); more power to you.
Yet, I still will go along with the notion that the A4 in B8 guise is, essentially, somewhat lower on the power curve than the pricetag might suggest.
Then again, configured head to head, the A4 and the 328xi are priced "very very close" and if that is the criteria, well, the Audi does not seem underpowered nor overpriced.
The S4 may or may not put an end to some of these comments -- but I would say it would be comp'd to the 335xi 4 door sedan.
Price them out and the S4 will certainly rule.

Now I'm really torn. I originally wanted a 3.2, but with all the talk around here about how great the 2.0 is, I started tilting in that direction. But now, I don't know ...
