Some of my information is transferring but I can't get my Verizon Blackberry to transfer the address book. Nothing appears after 1/2 hour. I then went to my phone bluetooth settings and clicked 'Transfer Address Book' to 'push' the data it says it throws an error 'Contact Bluetooth Object Push server' or something like that.

Any help or ideas? Thank you!

Verizon limits bluetooth function. All bluetooth issues are mostly Verizon phones

Thank you Reggie for quick update. Someone else told me this but I was hoping Verizon would have addressed this by now. I'm going to play with the settings one more time. I'm getting all other Bluetooth features with the phone except the address book.

maybe upgrade to 4.5 first and then try again.

actually I'm not having that problem and am on Verizon with a Blackberry

hopefully it works out, I've gotten somewhat dependent on my address book while driving.

I'm updating the OS right now with the 4.2 update.

I'm running the 8830 World which runs on the supported 4.2 OS from Verizon.

The 4.5 I think is for the other models (curve, bold, etc)

I'll let you know how this goes!

Yeah, they stopped releasing OS for 8800 series.
