When I bought my TSX I think they said take it easy for 1000 km. What is it (if anything) for the 2010 A4?

Same thing essentially. There is info in the owner's manual about break-in.
However, while most seem to agree to keep the revs down and take it easy for the first 1000 miles, some folks do advocate driving the car normally or even driving it hard for the break-in period. Some searching on the forum should yield some discussions about this issue.
During my break-in I generally took it easy and went easy on the revs. I also did no heavy acceleration from a stop, particularly before the engine was fully warmed. I did, however, occasionally make short bursts of high-rev full acceleration from low speeds to make sure the engine was seeing the full spectrum of RPM during the important break-in period. This was done to make sure the rings were fully seating as they wore in. I've done this with my previous cars and they never burned a drop of oil, so I continued the practice with my A5.
