Why do you say that? It makes sense to me. It should be here in the states and they already have the VIN. Thats all the paperwork needs. He is the manager of a prestigious dealer so I hope he knows all the risks to him and myself.

Well your warranty will be ticking before you pick up the car. They HAVE to mark the car sold and delivered in the system inside the program period to be eligible. And there's some other back side things that working against them by doing that. Like the PDI and your battery warranty as the work/R.O. (repair order) has to be opened and closed before delivery to validate the warranty. So yeah this will be interesting. If audited or Audi catches it....all bets are off ;-)
