Default Cleaning Exhaust Tips

Hi all. I have a bunch of build up on my stock chrome exhaust tips that I could not get off during washing with a rag. Anyone know any type of cleaner that would remove all the gunk without damaging the chrome under it?

I use Hope Perfect stainless steel cleaner from my kitchen which is probably a very mild abrasive and it easily cleans off all the carbon buildup. The exhaust tips certainly do get black very quickly. There is way more build up than any naturally aspirated car I've owned previously, so I'm assuming this is pretty common for turbos.

Thank you, I will try your advice...I also believe its do to the turbo and the whole oil burning thing with our cars.

Turtle Wax Chrome polish works really well for me. Just don't get it on your black valence or it'll stain it if not wiped off quickly.
