Has anyone found a brand of travel mug that will fit in the larger of the two front seat cupholders without having to be FORCED in? The normal-size travel mugs in local stores have a 2.75-inch diameter base, and they are just too big.
(I know--the smaller cupholder is fine for Red Bull--I don't drink it. Responses such as "don't drink in the car" aren't helpful. They remind me of the 1980s Saab my wife had that didn't have any cupholders("to discourage drinking in the car," the salesman said) or glovebox (Saab skipped the glovebox R&D that year so they could find a way to put in an airbag).

Wasn't SAAB the one that thought the ignition key slot should be on the floor between the seats?
For coffee mugs put some self adhesive teflon tape on the contact points of the dogs that keep the mug in the center. Here is one type:

It makes the dog so slippery the effort to push down the mug is reduced.
