Are you in Canada or the US? I have an 2009 2.0T s-line. I'm in the US.

Default atleast you have the option, for me would have been a $3350 "option"...

to go from my Premium Plus to the Prestige line.

Default Noticed BMW Canada has a special offer on transmission

That might be helping to equalize the price. Auto transmission on a 335xi sedan is no extra cost compared to the manual. On the 335xi coupe it's still $1600 extra. Whatever. For me it came down to:
- There's already a new bimmer in the parkade at work (a 335xi coupe nonetheless)
- I wanted a wagon and I have never even seen one to test drive at the local BMW dealership. They're too busy selling X3s and X5s.
- Saw a new A4 Avant at the Audi dealership, test drove it soon thereafter and ooooh yeah the rest was history.

But the US gets S-Line as an option on the 2.0T, we Canadians don't. =(

Default Re: Comparison between A4 B8 and 335xi

BMW is faster and handles better no doubt but the A4 is no slouch either. Also easier/cheaper to mod the 2.0T.

Audi interior is nicer though IMO and if you drive a lot and are unable to take advantage of a faster, better handling car due to local law enforcement I think staring at the inside of an Audi all day is easier than a BMW's.

You can't go wrong with either. Just pick which one you like more and go for it.

Default Re: The A4, TODAY, should be spec'd and priced against the 328xi. . .

Our lease is up on a 2006 A6 3.2 S-Line loaded. We cannot get an A4 Avant P+ for within a $75/month of it. Priced out a 335Xi that was comparably equiped and the lease is the same as our A6! The 328xi wagon which is a closer comparison to an A4 Avant is a solid $100 less per month on a 36 month 12K lease! We want a A4 but not with the current lease rates, residuals etc.
