Default Dan Neil of L.A. Times gives new A4 a rave review today.

I think Neil is the best writer in the industry and always enjoy his columns. This one comes complete with a video featuring his stuffed frog, Squishy.

My wife's lease on her 325i ends in August. I see a B8 in her future.

http://www.latimes.com/classified/automotive/highway1/la-hy-neil18-2008jun18,0,7404578.story</a

Default $40K for fully loaded 3.2? Highly unlikely

$40K is probably close to the base price of a 3.2 Premium Plus or Prestige.

Default Definitely agree. A B7A4 3.2 with all the options I'd select is ~$45K. B8 won't be priced any lower.

And no I didn't select everything, just premium leather, nav, heated seats, metallic paint, sport suspension, etc... no rear airbags, wheel options, rear shades, SLine.

And I chose a manual.

Default Nice, but he doesn't really give his overall driving impression of the car.

The closest are his comments about braking distance and the drive select.

Agreed. A fully loaded 2.0TQ Tip MSRP will easily exceed $40K. B7's already do.
