I spoke with the salesman that I always use and he told me that he is expecting automatic a4's to start arriving in september and the manuals about six months later. Northeast Ohio area.

V8audihere,
You mentioned you're in Northeast OH. I was wondering if you could recommend a dealer for me to deal with when I purchase my B8 next spring. I've only briefly been to Cascade in Cuyahoga Falls but they didn't seem interested in talking to me at all. I got the feeling they assumed I was a gauker because I'm 27 and drove up in a 10 year old car.

...I had a similar experience at Cascade. But I really think that it depends on the rep that you stumble into. The guy that I spoke with really didn't know his stuff and seemed too distracted to bother with me.
Went up to Fred Baker Audi and the sales guy basicly said, "Hi, here's the keys. Now go drive the car."
Which I did. I have bought three cars from that dealer and will be talking to them about a B8 A4.
----
On a side note, one day my car was being serviced at FB and I was gawking at a nearly new Mini with all the trick racing stuff hanging off it. An older guy walked out of an office and immediately tried to sell it to me.
He went on to tell me that it was his car. He said that he was selling it 'cause it wasn't like the old Mini's that he used to race back in the 60s.
That was Fred Baker. Later I was watching the Speed Channel and "Fast Freddy" was racing an older A4 and doing rather well.
I'd bet that he isn't an easy guy to work for

For Ohio - you cannot beat Fred Baker or Stoddard Imported Cars (aka Audi Willoughby). They're about 30 minutes away from each other off of I-271.
Fred Baker is definitely the heavy hitter in Ohio, I know a lot of people who have bought from them and are very happy. I bought from Stoddard and have been very pleased with them.
Cascade does not impress me and I'm not familiar with Sunnyside.

I have purchased four A4's from Gary Buffington and I am planning on ordering my fith next week. It will be a 2009 B8 A4 2.0qt. Service has been way beyond excellent. I personally know several of the mechanics and they go way beyond the call of duty to get my A4 just right. One mechanic in particular Rob Strodbeck has been a top 10 rated Audi mechanic for many year in the Audi technician challenge. If Rob can't get it fixed no one can! I highly recommend Sunnyside and tell Gary I sent you.
