Does AudiCare include oil changes?

I could have sworn I was told that AudiCare included oil changes but the brouchure I have doesn't say anything about it...just talks about the 15k, 30k, and 45k tuneups. Any thoughts?

Only the 5k service includes a tire rotation, but I have heard of dealerships not doing it. Be sure to remind them even tho it says it in the manual. And yes, oil change at 5k is included. I actually reached a low oil level before my 5k service, and my dealership topped it up for free.

Those of you have put enough miles to see some tire wear, are they wearing out evenly? Is the rotation really not needed or is this Audi's way of tweaking the cost of ownership numbers? How about the 10K oil change interval? 7.5Kmiles sounds more prudent to me, probably less if doing a lot of stop and go city driving.

That's really strange. I found a maintenance schedule online and it indeed says rotation at 5K only. What's the logic here? When you get new tires, do you have to do the same thing, namely one rotation after 5K and nothing afterwards?

I believe the reason Audi only covers the cost for all owners at the 5K service and not at other intervals with Audicare has to do with wearable items not being covered under warranty, i.e. brakes, tires, wiper blades, etc. They decided that when a car is new, they would rotate as needed for the first free service as a customer concession.

I agree with you that rotation should be done. I just don't understand why Audi doesn't recommend it.
