Does B8 manual get the parking brake button as well?

Hike up skirt, take out *****, work clutch and gas in tandem. Simple. :-)
But yes, the B8 manual has the electromechanical brake. It might even have a hill-hold function built into it based on various reads of how the drive-off brake works. Not that real men (or women) need such a crutch!

Gets the button, but also likely to have Hill Start Assist...
Most new manual transmission cars have this, even the newest Porsche 911 will have it, along with all manual BMW's coming out now, even the Subaru WRX STI has it.
The A5/S5 also has this, which is why I'd expect the same for the A4.

Not sure about the B8 but in the R8 with the hill hold function, it will hold the car for 2 secs when you foot release the brake. It will then release the hill hold once it sense that the clutch has taken up drive. Makes hill start so much easier.
