Default Re: Okay, not that you asked but here's how you go about it.... Agree

Definitely agree, tks.
You and I know how bad the economy is right now, and definitely going to get worse, but these guys act like everything is kool.

I'm taking it easy... and not rushing my decision until the last couple of days at the end of the month... or even at the end of March (end of quarter).

Default Sounds to me like typical dealership garbage. I wouldn't grace them with my business.

And to answer your question...ANY REBATE has EVERYTHING to do with your negotiations. Once a salesperson learns you will be saving on the deal through rebates, it gives him the green light to become more rigid with your sale. He now sees there is extra room for him. He is thinking, "if he's going to be saving here, I can get him there..." It's leverage for him. The better the deal you get from Audi, the better the deal he is going to try to get from you. He doesn't want you to win on both accounts. Never reveal any rebates until you've negotiated your best deal.

Do you have to be a returning Audi customer? Do you think VW counts, cause I have an 05 GTI right now that I'm trading on an A4.

Default Have to be AFS (Audi Financial) returning customer

You would think it would be the same (VW and Audi), since they are one company (VW owns Audi) but they have strict rules separating the two.

Was looking at going from Audi to VW (A4 to Passat) but VW would not match Audi loyalty bonus

Default Tks, good to know - will keep at it

Did they provide the best offer you received?
Unfortunately they did not have the right color or option (sport) I am looking for.

By the way, out of about 20 Premium+ only 3 had sport option... are they that scarce/rare?
