Does the navigation system in the B8 have a 3D view option like the RNS-E does?

See the link for a great article on 3G MMI. Here's the money quote:
"Brabec: Yup and then we will roll it out into other models as we go. So upcoming model years is what I would say.
Fourtitude: If I had to guess that your current product rotation, A6 facelift would probably get it.
Brabec: A majority of the car lines will get it next year.
Fourtitude: So 2010?
Brabec: Yes.
Fourtitude: Except A3, TT, and R8 which run the other system.
Brabec: Yes, A3, TT, and R8 will not because they are not using that system. That is exactly right. But A4, A5, A6, Q7, all of those will be on the list together."<ul><li><a href="http://www.fourtitude.com/news/publish/Features/article_4301.shtml">Fourtitude interview with 3G MMI product mgr</a></li></ul>

3D View
On Screen Turn List
Look up destination by name or phone number. You can only look up desitnations by catagory in the MMI interface, seriously sucks.
It looks like they added all that to the 3g MMI. But it does suck for those of us stuck with 2g. The nav feels like a huge step back compared to the one that i had in my 08 TT and before that in my B6 A4.

I don't know about that.
- 3D View would be nice but can't say I miss it too much - after using 3D Views on my Garmin Nuvi and seeing it in my friend's G35 and another's BMW 328 I think 2D/top-down is the most functional.
- On screen turn list I definitely would have liked without a doubt. I find myself frequently going to the Route List which is pretty useless most of the times. I think though with a combination of the next turn in the driver display and the map w/intersection zoom...I can survive
- I think you can look up destinations by name once you've selected a category.
I remember my friend's old Audi A4 (2007) would give you a selection of routes when you entered the destination...that is something I was severely dissapointed in not having since it was very useful.
In the end, I can only imagine they had a reason to take these features out..or at least I hope so.
