I just had my 5,000 miles service and discovered that there is a Campaign for cars equipped with Audi Drive Select.

This may be old news as my car was an Aug '08 build but it was news to me (and to my service manager).

My service record lists it as "23D6 Campaign Due" with the corrective action shown as "5717 Drive Select Module Update Flash Performed Update Flash"

My dealer is very small and mine is the first Drive Select B8 that they've serviced so it took about 45 minutes for them to research it and perform the flash.

They did not know what fault or issue the campaign is designed to correct.

I have not noticed any change in ADS function or performance since the flash.

Good to know, thanks for sharing. I wonder what changes in programming were made.

24D6 contains an improvement in initialization of the Drive select system. Sometimes there were false failures detected by the system, so with this update the system is desensitized. Only "true failures" will be recognized.

Yes, thanks very much for the info! Is the campaign performed by a complete ECU reflash? Or just a selective updating of certain systems?
