so this might be a little different but the back part of my drivers seat feels slightly loose...I can tell the most when I brake hard and the seat pushes forward a little. its starting to get really annoying...my question is should I even venture fixing it myself? I can't figure out how to get under the power-seat adjuster housing but I'm sure it just requires tightening...I should also mention I'm out of my get out-of-jail free ANYTHING warranty period, but I figure something as important as the drivers seat may be covered? thoughts?

I found the front seats in my B5 and B6 very uncomfortable -- hard, slippery leather compounded by a seat bottom that was too short to support my long legs. To make matters worse, a seat motor on my driver's seat broke, and the dealership charged me $950 to replace it. Two years later, the motor broke again!
Next, the seat back came apart, and the dealer wanted $150 to repair it. Only after reading AW forums I found that it was quite easy to fix yourself -- the parts cost me $58,
Friends of mine own a BMW 328 and a Volvo S70. Their seats are so much more comfortable than my Audi's.
I'm awaiting delivery of my B8 with sport seats, hoping the extra bolstering and front seat extension will make things a little more comfortable.
By the way, why did Audi drop the underseat drawers? They were so convenient to stash things -- radar detector, sunglasses, cell phone, etc. -- in.

I've noticed the same, loose feeling in the drivers seat as well and must admit it drives me crazy. Be sure to post what comes out of your efforts, I'm also interested to see just how many other people have this problem. For the record, my seat is non-sport, but i doubt the problem would be isolated to only one type.

+1 for the under seat drawer, the only problem was occasionally stepping on them getting in the car if I forgot to close them, fiddly to get back in place. Maybe thats why?

I don't think its getting worse, just noticed it fairly recently but I'm sure something is loose at this point...I guess I'll see what the dealer has to say sometime in the week - at one point I was going to my dealer every other week so I hate going, but this is important :/

update: no faulty part, they said a little movement is normal - however, I don't see how it's normal since it wasn't there before...anyway they tightened it and I'm content
