I just received word that my car will arrive by boat on April 7th on the east coast. I live in Minneapolis, MN. Any idea which port it will come into and how long it will take to get to Minneapolis?

Google search says Audi uses the Port of Davisville in Rhode Island.

The time from port to dealer depends on the backlog at the VPC (Vehicle Processing Center) where they do an inspection and pre-delivery work. Probably a 2-3 day drive on the truck, so maybe a week or a little less in total. The dealership should be able to follow it through those steps after it lands at the port.

Sometimes cars do sit for a while if needing recall parts, or the staging lot at the port is just jam packed with cars, and given Audi's recent sales numbers, that may not be out of the question.

Davisville RI is a major port for VW/Audi (and more) at this time. I really have no idea if that port would supply the heartland, though.

I suspect you've got to be a good couple of weeks from the USA arrival and then out to MN.

FWIW, my car arrived at the port 1 week ago today and there's still no sign of it. The port to my dealership is a 1hr drive at the most. I suspect the port is a busy place given the Customs clearance, VPC and all...
