I went on a road trip out of state over the weekend. Part of the drive had me crossing a native American reservation. I had one slow-moving car to pass, with a couple of miles of visibility to the front and to the rear, straight road, no surprises...right?
As I passed the slower car I kept on the gas, and as I reached about 105mph a police siren went off in the DVD movie my kids were watching.
It took me about 15 minutes to get the blood back to my face and legs...

LOL! What a mess! Reminds me when a stupid radio advertisement comes on and they have the sound of a car skidding or crashing. For a second, you think it's real and start bracing yourself. There should be a law against that as it's a hazard. Actually, I think there is.

Yeah yeah, I knew someone would say something about that. Since there was only one other car in the immediate area, and it was a straight road with good pavement and clear line of sight, I felt relatively safe. The car is also quite stable at that speed.

Its not the speed that kills. Its the reckless driving and lack of road etiquette. Driving on the Autobahn you stay in right lane unless you pass. In the USA you take up as many lanes as possible and weave because it gets you to your destination faster.
