Gas Mileage
I'm looking to purchase a new A4 sometime this year. I've got to ask what kind of gas mileage you new A4 owners with 2.0L turbo motors are getting?

Having said that -- it's going to depend very heavily on what kind of driving you do. Cold weather 2 mi trips is going to be a lot worse than warm climate 60 mi commutes... Aggressive vs. relaxed, etc... The EPA estimates are a good starting point to compare other cars to the Audi. Using the EPA #'s of what you have now vs. your actual mileage will give you a "correction" factor to get you closer.

I've only put 2800 miles on the car and mostly highway...but we've somehow managed 29.2 average MPG. When we drove home (~2400 of the miles), we actually averaged 32.7. Quattro and Tiptronic.

A4 Mileage
With my 2009 Prestige, 2.0T 6-speed manual transmission that has now 11,000 miles after and 8 months ownership I am very pleased with the gas mileage. However, it does depend on many conditions. With over 6000 miles logged on my car computer 2, my gas mileage is at 31.4 mpg. With winter tires installed, and with a -10F air temperature yesterday and driving over snow-packed and drifting secondary roads last night, my mileage will decrease. Ahhh quattro is wonderful! But on the highway, in the summer, with my all-season tires properly inflated, with the cruse control set at 65 on a flat road I see constant 35+ mpg. Rowing up and down the gears with the fantastic Audi 6-speed manual on twisty side roads the mileage is less. For the performance and luxury the A4 is a marvel in terms of its efficiency. But your mileage will depend on the road conditions and how aggressively you prefer to drive. With quattro and good tires the road condition is addressed; the pressure of your right foot on the accelerator pedal is another story.

How accurate is the car computer's mpg readout?
Mine has been off by several miles per gallon, based on filling the gas tank (with no topping off), running the tank down to about 1/4-full, refilling in the same manner, and then calculating mpg using the odometer mileage reading.

This inaccuracy is so prevalent that I automatically subtract 1-2 MPG mentally when I see somebody post their mileage.
