Default K Band falses are going off constantly, so I'm going to turn it off too...

Since I basically ignore all K band alerts, what's the point?

I am having the same problem. I have two different versions of the Valentine and both are going off in the B8 on x-band.

I turned off the lane assist but that did not work. I pulled the fuse on the park assist and that did not help. Then, I pulled the fuse on lane assist and it stopped. It seems to me that the lane assist radar is on all the time. I think the switch only turns the lights on and off.

Any of you smart tech people know if the switch can be re-wired to turn off the radar too? My wife doesn't like to use the detector and like the lane assist. I'm afraid to drive without the Valentine but don't want to have to pull the fuse every time I drive the car. A button would be much better.

If you hard-wire V1 to the lane assist fuse it might work. You will probably have to put another switch in-line with the fuse.

Is X-band really used by the law enforcement where you live? Police most often uses Ka and Laser. X and K bands are used in very specific geographic areas; you would know for sure if they are used in yours.
