Audi drive selectMastery of driving dynamics: Audi drive select integrates the technical components that determine the quality of the driving experience – the engine, transmission, steering (optional), shock absorbers (optional) and the sport differential (optional). Drivers can adjust the characteristics of these systems at any time to suit their personal preferences.
You can now get it to the A4 3.0 TDI. If you dont have the optional stuff, what does it do to the chassis. When I tried it on snow, it felt softer, but what does it affect when there is no air suspension? The sales guy didnt know how to answer this.
Thanks for you help!

The Adaptive Suspension regulates the dampening as you drive, depending on conditions and how you drive.
The option "Dynamic Steering" varies the steering ratio depending on speed (and perhaps how you drive). It also varies the steering assist.
(It is describe that it can also intervene if the ESP sense that you need assistance to manage an understeer situation. I haven't noticed (at least not any intervention I didn't like ..)
The description says it measures and adjusts several times a second.
The 3 driver selectable settings (for each parameter if you have navigation) selects in which range you want to be.
The "Engine" parameter adjusts the Response. Not only the mapping of the accelerator pedal but also removes/changes the delay that is noticeable in a standard car. (This might depend on which engine it has, but for my 3.2FSI I prefer the "Dynamic" setting for Engine.
I don't have automatic gear box, so I don't know about that.
Nor the Sport Diff.
I recommend to combine ADS with Nav in order to get the Individual settings. (Then change some settings with a PC and VCDS, so that it always starts up in Individual mode.)
