Default HOW DO I SHUT THE DAMN RADIO

Just picked up a Cert. Pre Owned 2015 A4. Can anyone tell me how to shut the radio off, and have it stay off? Not mute, but off. Everytime I turn on the Nav system, the radio comes on. It has become quite annoying. Thanks, Dave

I don't have nav, but to turn my radio off, I make a long press on the volume ****. It's in your owner's manual.

But if you had Nav, you would see that as soon as you put Nav on, the radio comes on, without prompting it to.

Another option is to insert an SD card with a single blank file (if you have an SD card slot) and select it as the source. Result is no radio or music audio while still able to get Nav sounds.

Try turning the volume on radio down & raising Nav volume.

The SAT button does it for me since I don't have a satellite radio subscription.

I don't think that works as when you restart the car, the radio volume goes to the lower default setting (there are two default volume settings depending on the last level set when the car was turned off). I believe I've seen where the radio volume presets can be adjusted to any level, including "0" with Vag-Com.

I have MY -14, B&O, Nav+ and worked around it as follows.
I have changed the minimum entertainment level to zero (using the hidden/green menu) as shown in this thread:
https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a6-...uting-2869912/

"Mute" is still not rememered for all inputs but turning the volume down to zero is remembered. Raising the volume again requires up-down-up to get it working.
Note: Enabling the green menu requires VCDS (VAG-COM).
