I'm just getting lazy so I retired an older Mothers power cone for cleaning the wheels. Foam pad changes shape well with the 10 spoke sport wheels. Waxing helps but the 10 spokes are magnets!

In the very beginning, I used a regular small sponge (the dishwashing ones with a soft yellow sponge part and a rough green part). Of course, I used the yellow part to clean the wheel. Then I timed myself and each wheel took about seven minutes to clean. I gave up.
Then I used an old wash mit, which works fairly well. I think I'll just use the wash mit from now on since it takes half the time the sponge does.
