Default How to iPod 2009 Audi A4 Quattro

How to iPod 2009 Audi A4 Quattro ? Seen several adapters. But they are all compatible till 2008 Audi's. Can't find any for my car. Dealer is asking $1700. Hate AUX sound and would like to control over the wheel. Appreciate any suggestions.

dealer asks for more than 2K locally.
this is called standard Audi Music Interface.
as an alternative, you can look for Dension solutions (dension.com)

All you should need is a $50 Audi cable that plugs into the port in the glove box and then into your iPod.

How do you propose he does this without the AMI?

My 2009 Audi came with Audi Symphony. Dension's module works with Audi MMI only. Looks like I don't have any other options :-(

Other solutions involve MP3 files on either a memory card (if you have that) or on CD-RW. I have the 6-CD changer so I have plenty of room for my music in MP3 format.

Have you looked at this one? I don't know if it's what you're after but might do the job.
I used one of their adaptors in my Volvo. It plugged into the CD changer input. You could chatge and control the ipod from the radio, but you couldn't see the track info etc.

I have the same set up on my 2009....no nav or MMI....just the AMI. If you have the Audi Symphony you should have the connection in the glove box for the IPod cable. Weird, but still a bit unclear on what he's got.
