k so I have been shopping around like crazy this past month, it seems that its only possible to get $500 under invoice this month on Premium Plus and up packages. just wondering if anyone else got the same thing or soemthign different.

Mark, if you know what a unit actually costs the dealer (and that is only the top guy at most stores) then you know that the dealer has positive cash flow selling units we are talking about here for $ 2,600 below invoice.
The internet has changed the marketing of vehicles. Dealers can no longer depend on protected territories, reigonal price fixing, and lack of competition because dealers are geographically dispersed.
Many dealers have realized that retail of new cars is not a way to earn a living. They know the real dollars come from the used cars and the workshop. The more units a dealer has on the road, the more he makes. They all need service. Even if you sell a car to a cat from Virginia, a guy in CT will pick up his car in FL. A rising tide floats all boats.
Mark, you need to own the internet, price so people fly in to get their car. Several dealers do this now, and are reaping the rewards of higher volume, thus greater allocation and a chance to make big dollars on the sexy stuff.

obviously it depends on the options, but its always $500 under at least in california.

there will probably be a dealer in your area that is part of the program. and at least in my case a dealer not in the program beat the dealer in it by another $550.
