the trip computer button is supposed to be on the windshield wiper switch but its not there. Is the trip computer available on all a4 models?

For 2009 I think on Premium + and up, so if you have Premium (base model trim) then you may not have it.

See page 14 of the manual linked to here : https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho...php?p=23634708

Good point. It's not very clear. The only reference is :

"As well as the figures from the on-board computer (computer 1 or 2), the display can also show information from other systems. Press the Reset button briefly to switch back and forward between these displays."

Not very explicit at all

Here's one. You don't have to close your fuel filler door in a 2-step motion (fold door to ajar position + press in to engage latch and make door flush with body). You can just flick it hard enough so that it latches on contact in the closed position. There, that's my contribution to this thread LOL. BTW, this is not in the manual.

I use it for my mailbox key since my oakleys won't fit

While back up camera is on and the hatch is opened, the camera still works, with quite a different perspective.
(may work with a car equipped with a trunk as well

...since slamming the gas filler door is "OK."

Running your car into a brick wall makes your car shorter and therefore easier to park....

LOL, nobody said anything about slamming. I said flick. It's all in the wrist, and doesn't require excessive force.

Side note, is it just me, or do the B8 doors require a little more force to close on the first try than other Audi's? The famous flick works here too.

...and you're right about the doors closing harder. With better aerodynamics and weatherstripping, the car seals better - making the doors harder to close....
