So i have decided to replace the intake manifold to fix my CEL showing it cannot identifiy the placement of my Flap... I do see a s slight in city MPG difference and maybe an idle difference (that part could be in my head but im definently getting a little worse city mpg) but i have only found 1 site to offer aftermarket OEM direct replacement and it also offers 2.

2010 replacement and a 2013 replacement for 80 dollars more.

What do you guys think? Id love to not have to replace this ever again and i think it was stupid to 1 embed this on the intake and 2 not warranty it like the VW's got.

What do you think? Should i spend the extra 80 dollars?

I think you need the manifold specified for your car.

This is whats specified for my car. Nothing on the car has changed much from 2010 to 2013 and only reason i am inquiring getting the 2013 is to keep the sensor from going out a 2nd time.

The 2013 should have the aluminum casting and the 5th injector to handle e85. I believe the flap motor was unchanged.

can anyone confirm this? I just want to make sure my flap SENSOR doesnt go out again. Expensive 180 or 260 dollar sensor for something so miniscule.
