The Audi manual for the 2011 B&O Prestige system is terrible on this subject, but I've seen from searching previous threads that playlists are not available to be created.
So my question to you guys is how do you manage your large number of songs imported into the jukebox? Yes, I know that I can plug the Ipod in the glove compartment and utilize the playlists on it. But the Ipod connection is analog and quite frankly the jukebox is terrific and I prefer to use it.
And yes, I could build "playlists" of a sort onto SD cards, but again that is an extra step. I just want to enjoy the Jukebox provided. Right now I put it on "shuffle" and let it go. But as I add more and more songs this becomes less attractive. I just thought one of you might have had a bright idea on the subject. Thanks!

I do not have the B&O on my 2009 B8 and I always used my iPod, but I recently bought a AMI USB cable from eBay and I bought a 32GB USB stick where I copied more than 3000 songs in .M4A
I also made inteligent playlist with MediaMonkey and it works beautifully.
I do not know the procedure to load music in the jukebox, but if it is similar to using a USB stick to load the music, maybe you could make the playlists and load them with the music.
I just bought MediaMonkey Gold when they had their annual Black Friday sale and I highly recommend it. You need the Gold version to be able to make inteligent playlist and you need to buy the codec to use the m4a codec. Media Monkey cost $25 and the codec $10 when not in sale...
The mp3 and m4a files fully support the Metadata which mean that the car will display the artist and the album. The info window will also display the year and commentary...
