I've had to clean my light gray seats two times in five months, and even at their worst, the seats only had a faint layer of grime.

I think that part of my partner's problem is that he is tall, and not as agile as he used to be (de to a rotator cuff injury), so he likely rubs the leather roughly as he slides in and out, causing it to pick up some of the color from his clothing. He is not the neatest guy either.
