Got a raise and convinced the CFO of the family (the wife) that I need a new Audi. Goodbye 2011 Premium FWD.

I really want red. Leaning towards Brilliant, but want to see Volcano in person (may be too orange for me). Thinking Premium+, MMI, Sports package, and B&O. Perhaps Black Optic? But I'm concerned about ride quality on 19" given the awful state of LA roads. One nice thing about my giant 17" wheels now is the rather nice ride over cracked and uneven pavement.

If they can't find inventory, it seems red isn't a popular color, what are you experiences with lead times on a custom A4?

I ordered a 2011 prem+ 6mt nav, titanium and it took almost exactly 3 months. Assuming there are no delays. I have heard that the black optics/titanium package might delay arrival.

3 months, eh? That's pretty long. Guess I better get on it ASAP!

3 months is typical. +/- a few days depending on how far away you are from port. Mine was delayed an additional 3 months because of a problem with the 19" S-line wheel supplier (Ronal?). Total wait 6 months... grin upon delivery = priceless.

About 8 weeks for me. People have reported that it has taken longer around the cutoff for the next year model. You need to get the order in before March I'd think. I ordered mine in the middle of September of 2011, the production date was October 5th and I got it on November 18th.
