Take a look over on the vwvortex tech forums...

Plenty of folks there posting results of oil analysis. Any turbo motor is going to be hard on oil due to the heat involved. Note, the below two threads refer to the older TFSI engine, expect more results from the newer TSI engine as folks put miles on them. Lets just hope this TSI motor doesn't burn a quart of oil every 5000 miles like the TFSI usually did.

Sounds like a great improvement. The old motor would go through a ton of oil, mostly because of issues with its PCV system.

I did 8000km and so far, the MMI shows that the oil is still at the max level. If I had a dip stick (thanks audi for not including it just to save pennies!), I'd check to see if the MMI is screwed up or not..
