Default Heard it on my 07 too...
seems like everyone has a different answer for it, just think of it as the car prepping itself..

+2 - yep, fuel pump priming, same as B7's. Because pump is so low to ground.

It's not. It's the FSI fuel pump, same as the B7.

It's actually mentioned in the manual too, at least for the B7 it was.
