1) I always full up V-Power at shell and my car has never been on other gas station NEVER.
2) I always use cruise control like 80% time of my driving. seriously lol
3) I don't hard accelerate.
4) I get 500+ only on long trips.
5) Mixed i get always 400++ Never less than 400.

So if you get 380 that means u push your car really hard or use crappy gas maybe ?

fuel capacity in 2009 tank is 18 gallons.

lets say you go long trip and get +/- 30mpg

18x30 = 540 miles.

i usually get arround 33mpg on highway

18x33 = 594 miles thats max in theory,

my last long trip i managed to drive 520 miles.
520/18 = 28,8 mpg

Thats the max i got since i got my car - 520 miles on full tank -

I agree with you. When I put my car on cruise with summer gas (I'm from the Midwest) I average 34 mpg. It's easy for me to get very close to 500 miles on a tank.

18 gallons is too big.

Edmunds says 16.9 gallon tank. I'll check my cars manual tomorrow.
And you should be thinking about keeping 2 gallons in the tank anyway.

15 x 34 = 510 miles.

CVT equipped models have a larger fuel tank than Quattro models.

Regardless, miles per tank is the most useless thing to discuss/debate. Manually calculated MPG (start with completely full tank, drive. Take miles driven/gallons added to restore 'full') is the only meaningful tool.
