That is the point of the tape... a little acetone poured on the edge and it eases off with no damage to what is beneath.....

Oh... Didn't know the acetone would remove the tape that well. Might have to give it a go.

Would you stick to the 3M or a knock off brand if your are wanting to ever get the tape off? I know some of that tape is pretty sticky stuff.
