Default oem spark plugs

So about time to change the spark plugs (35k mi). Can someone confirm the part number and brand of the oem spark plugs?

The B7's used Bosch but the dealer now states our B8's use NGK. Got an incorrect part number from the dealer for the NGK's so having a hard time sourcing the oem's.

Would love to hear the reasoning for this as well. My car is chipped and has been picking up some misfire DCTs as of late and was wondering if the plugs could be the reason...

EIX plugs are Iridium, which would make them last longer, the E is a copper plug, copper is a better conductor but it is soft and will burn out faster so you need to replace every 35000 miles, Iridium may last double and is less subject to carbon deposit, better self cleaning.

It is all up to you if you want to spend the money, the performance difference is minimum but the iridium last longer then copper.

If your car is chipped you can use BKRX7E or EIX because this plug runs a little colder then the 6e or EIX, Chipped cars runs hotter so this may help keep temp down and prevent plug melt down.

The B8 A4 2.0T does in fact use an NGK plug (part no. 06H905601A).
