I am having the same problems on my '10 S4. My service tomorrow will make the fourth attempt to fix the problem. So far we have been through the power steering hose (nothing to do with a clunk), a ball joint, and inner tie rods. I tried to look up TSB 2027295/1 on ErWin and found no reference at least on the '10. Below are a list of potentials on mine.
