Hello,
I'm french, so excuse my bad english :-).
My radio module didn't work ( 4G0 035 056) with this problem no MMI, no radio, no GPS ,etc , so i replace it with a new piece with the same references.
Today, MMI works fine, but i have two problems:
-The left speakers don't work (front and back)
-The radio cut off every two seconds, work again , and cut off every two seconds.
I will try to replace one speaker from right to left, in order to check if the first problem is a speaker problem.
But what can explain the second problem ?
I read that audi component protection can limit component fonctionnality, does 4G0035056 is a piece protected by audi component protection ?
When audi component protection detect a problem with one piece, does a MMI message appears ? (no message in my car)
Thanks

I think both of your symptoms are caused by component protection. This is what I have noted:
Component Protection
The radio control module has a component protection
feature. When the component protection function is
active, its response varies according to trim level:
Radio with external amplifier:
The audio signal is interrupted cyclically for one second
during AM/FM/Sirius reception.
Radio with internal amplifier:
The audio signal is interrupted cyclically for one second
during AM/FM/Sirius reception. In addition, the left
audio channel is muted for all entertainment sources.
Telephone calls and navigation directions are transmitted
unobstructed.

Audi can active my piece without selling a new one ?, no tips for removing the protection piece?

You should be able to go to any dealership or ODIS connected independent shop and have them update the CP on the piece to work with your car. Figure at most an hour labor.
