Hi,
I have a 2013 A4 Quattro with 67000 miles which I bought in Feb 2018. The coolant in my car has been going low slowly and on getting it checked, the coolant pump was found to be leaking. I had the pump changed and the dealer performed the software "fix". However, is it possible that my faulty coolant pump could have been addressed in any way by the recall?

I believe the B8.5 coolant pump recall is a recall for possible fire due to clogs in the electric secondary coolant pump.
So it's not about leaky parts or workmanship, nor about the primary coolant pump that is driven by the balance shaft.
